Who am I?

Hello, I am Caroline and I own The Peacock Retreat Holistic Wellbeing.

I am an accredited and insured holistic therapist, reiki practitioner, sleep, mindfulness, and life coach.

I started on my journey with holistic therapy and coaching in 2018 whilst desperately searching for something to help with my chronic insomnia. I found that it was not enough to work on the symptoms itself (poor sleep), but I also needed to work on the root causes, in my particular case – stress, an over-stimulated brain and an over-thinking mind - but it is different for everyone. 

I learnt that stress is a contributing factor or the main cause of around 90% of all physical and emotional illnesses; managing the stress better therefore improves physical and mental health.

I’ve tried and tested a range of holistic modalities on myself and my clients to find strategies that work to reduce the impact of stress on the mind and body and improve a sense of overall wellbeing. Strategies that are simple to implement, even in our hectic modern lives, but highly effective if done consistently.

I now teach others how to put together their own bespoke wellbeing plan that fits into their busy lives so they can feel they are thriving rather than barely surviving.

Simple, quick, effective techniques. and once you’ve learnt them, you’ve got them in your wellbeing tool kit forever.

I am on a mission to help as many mid-life women as possible to sleep better, feel better, cope better, care better for themselves and others and thrive in life.

What we have to offer.

Why is this different to other services you have seen?

  • It is all about you, where you are right now and where you want to be in three months’ time!

  • It is not counselling, and we don’t go back over what has happened in your past.

  • I listen whilst you tell me how you feel right now and how you would like to feel differently.

  • I talk you through simple strategies and techniques that others have found helpful when they have been where you are and that you can start putting in place straight away. We ensure these fit with your life and time constraints so you can do them consistently to get you where you want to be.

  • Over the six sessions, I keep you accountable so the changes become habits that will stay with you beyond the three months we work together. If necessary, we can tweak anything that isn’t quite working from session to session too.

  • We work on whatever areas of your life or wellbeing are causing you the most concern – family, work, sleep, health… and start from there.

  • There is always the option to add in a Reiki session, a holistic treatment or extra Boost sessions after the initial six to complement and super-charge your wellbeing progress. It truly is holistic.

  • It is at a price which is affordable but still completely personalised to you and packed with value.

Sleep Better 1:2:1 Coaching & Treatment Programme
